While the majority of Russian wives are family-oriented and truly dedicated to their families, there are some who have more of a Western mentality. Such women are a minority, but there are Russian women for whom independence and career are more important than family. Some of them still want kids, but they are not in a hurry and would much rather have a career and solid income first. Russian wives usually have children early (early 20s is very common), but there are some who wait until 30 or even later to have their first child. If you want children right away, make sure to say it while trying to develop a relationship. If you want to wait, don’t forget to specify it as well.
