The Truth About Russian Marriage Agencies

Russian-American dating is gaining popularity, and as a result of this the number of Russian marriage agencies keeps growing. Some guys wonder if they really need the agencies in order to find a Russian wife. There is no definite answer to this, however Russian marriage agencies (legitimate ones, of course) can save you a lot of time and will reduce your chances of being scammed.

There are many ways to meet Russian women. I wrote about them awhile ago. Some of them are expensive (like going to Russia and meeting women there), others are time consuming (finding Russian women in the U.S.) Russian marriage agencies are a convenient way for Western men to meet many women in a short period of time. However, it could also be a risky way, because scam artists are not sleeping and Russian dating sites seem to be a very profitable place for them.

That’s where Russian marriage agencies come in handy. To minimize the risks of getting scammed, avoid using free Russian dating sites, because they are packed with scammers. Legitimate Russian marriage agencies (Anastasia International or Elena’s Models, for example) are trying hard to eliminate scammers from their databases in order to keep their reputation.

Be careful, because if the dating site is not free, it doesn’t mean that it is legitimate. Look for larger agencies, such as Anastasia International or Elena’s Models, which have been in industry for awhile. I am not sure about Anastasia International, but I heard from many people that Elena’s Models is one of the most reliable dating sites and is also one of the safest. There are many testimonies and pictures of Western men and Russian women online, who found each other through Elena’s Models.

Of course, if you don’t mind traveling to Russia and can afford it, it is probably the best way to meet a Russian woman. However, if you can’t do this, give Russian marriage agencies a try. Just make sure you pick the right one.
