When I came to this country I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly Americans were. 1.    Language. If your Russian wife has never been abroad before she moved to the United States, she will experience a really strong culture shock. Even if she studied American history and culture and her English is flawless, she will still have difficulties understanding the language and the culture. Americans tend to use a lot of slang, without even realizing this, so make sure your wife is comfortable asking you if she doesn’t understand something. 1.    Don’t go after a Russian woman who is 30 years younger than you. It may be cool and it might work for awhile, but most likely not for long. Imagine her being 40 when you turn 70. I don’t think I need to explain why it wouldn’t quite work.

Recently I got a letter from another “victim” of Russian dating scams. He was kind enough to let us post his letter on our site in hopes that it might be helpful to other men.
